Tewkesbury – 11kV Ashchurch

As a key contractor team, KP Civils delivered the installation of two new 11kV cable circuits on behalf of National Grid Electricity Distribution. The works involved a 4.07km duct installation and 8.14km of cable installation, providing a vital new connection from Northway Lane Primary Substation through Ashchurch to the new LOC substation at the Ashchurch development in Tewkesbury.

The project required close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including National Highways, Network Rail, and MACE. KP Civils successfully managed challenging elements such as a bridge crossing over the M5, and a horizontal directional drill beneath a rail asset - all completed safely, on schedule, and with zero customer complaints.
